Step into the wild for a weekend of adventure, bonding, and memory making. The Khemeia Valley Fathers & Sons Camp brings dads and boys (10–16) together for bush camping, swimming, nature exploration, fireside storytelling, and a special father-son Kauri planting to mark the journey.

The Khemeia Valley Fathers & Sons Camp is a 2-night, nature-immersive experience designed to strengthen the bond between dads and boys aged 10- 16 years. Set on our 850-acre regenerative whenua in Hikurangi, this camp blends outdoor skills, bush exploration, quiet connection time, shared meals, and simple moments around the fire — the kind that stay with you both for years to come.
Across the weekend, you’ll set up camp under the trees, cook and eat together, explore the back country of Khemeia Valley, and take part in hands-on activities designed to build confidence and connection. You’ll share stories around the fire, learn to listen deeply to the forest, hike to our bush camp lookout, enjoy a refreshing swim in our natural swimming hole, and take part in a safe introduction to firearms handling, target shooting, and more.
