More than a place - it's a living invitation to reconnect with land, self, and each other.

About us

Nestled in the wild heart of Aotearoa, Khemeia Valley spans 850 acres of regenerating native bush, rivers, pine forest, and open space. Once a conventional beef farm, this land is now being lovingly transformed into a thriving sanctuary of biodiversity and belonging through the principles of syntropic agroforestry, ecological restoration, and soul-led living.

We are the Harris whanau — kaitiaki, dreamers, builders, and earth-lovers — walking our talk and raising our tamariki in harmony with nature. Khemeia Valley is the physical expression of our values: regeneration, reciprocity, and remembering our deep connection to the natural world.

Our vision is to co-create a space where people can Retreat, Alchemize, and Regenerate. Whether you're here to stay in our off-grid nature accommodation, join a hands-on workshop, plant a food forest, or simply rest by the river, this land holds space for transformation — inner and outer.

We're on a journey — guided by nature, supported by community, and inspired by the knowing that healing the land heals us too.

Welcome to Khemeia Valley. Welcome home.

our team.

Meet the magical (and slightly motley) crew behind Khemeia Valley — a team of heart-led humans who get things done in their own unique way. We show up with great intentions, plenty of laughs, and a whole lot of integrity — weaving together care for the land, community, and the vision that guides it all.

Director of alchemy

Kia ora from Helen

Deeply rooted in this whenua, I weave my magick with nature and everyday life to create spaces, experiences, and products that inspire deeper connection, wellbeing, and sustainable living. Through regeneration, homesteading, syntropic agroforestry, sylvotherapy, and the art of creation, I hope to guide others back into relationship with the earth—and ultimately, with themselves.

director of Sacred wilds

Kia ora from Jarrod

Deeply connected to the whenua, Jarrod channels his strength, compassion, and vision into creating opportunities  where people can step away from the noise of the modern world and return to themselves through nature. With a gift for capturing the soul of the ngahere through a lense, and a passion for preserving the stories and history of this land, he weaves together practicality and purpose. Jarrod brings a grounded wisdom and sacred masculine energy to the work of regeneration, guiding others to reconnect with wild places, and with their own true nature.
